Fyāopùkiplod Se

Fyāopùkiplod Se (Fyāopù /ˈkiplod/ [mosquito] [robe; gown]) is a temperate Large Town located in the Tsvíhiow County of the Picham Community.

The name Fyāopùkiplod Se is derived from the Tauric language, as Fyāopùkiplod Se was founded by Crocodes Collins, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Fyāopùkiplod Se has a yearly average temperature of 23°C (73°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 33°C (91°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 13°C (55°F). Fyāopùkiplod Se receives an average of 208 cm/y (81 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Fyāopùkiplod Se covers an area of nearly 6 km² (2 mi²), and an average elevation of 1300 m (4265 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Fyāopùkiplod Se was founded durring the late 14th century in winter of the year 1257, by Crocodes Collins. The establishment of Fyāopùkiplod Se suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Fyāopùkiplod Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fyāopùkiplod Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Fyāopùkiplod Se is buildings are arranged arround a single broad paverstone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. Astonishigly, the somewhat suffishent are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

A look around Fyāopùkiplod Se has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s all of those things together, or perhaps it's the way these elements combine with the abundance of schools, libraries, and other academic structures. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear the town places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Fyāopùkiplod Se long.

Civic Infrastructure

Fyāopùkiplod Se has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Fyāopùkiplod Se. Fyāopùkiplod Se possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.

Fyāopùkiplod Se has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Fyāopùkiplod Se's natural decorations nor waterways.

Fyāopùkiplod Se has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

The locals are in a state of despair and dull apathy. They've lost the things that used to give them pride and hope, with the best among them carrying on out of habitual duty and the worst giving ready hands to shameful deeds and ignoble acts. No one really believes the future can be better, and most seek only to satisfy immediate appetites.

Fyāopùkiplod Se's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by grandeur of scale, simplicity of geometric forms, dramatic use of columns, and a preference for blank walls. This design ethos extended to re-imagining earlier styles of structure to create them anew, with a similar overall look and feel to one another..

In Fyāopùkiplod Se there is always just enough rain to be annoying.

The Herd Animal, Elk (Giant) near Fyāopùkiplod Se are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Fyāopùkiplod Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves reenactments to channel Mysticism energies of tier 1 via singing.
